The municipality of Vaz/Obervaz with around 2,700 inhabitants operates a modern, vibrant school with a versatile infrastructure - from the school building über outdoor facilities to the triple multi-purpose hall and a cultural hall. To ensure that the school day runs smoothly for children, teachers, and external users, commitment, responsibility, and technical skill are required. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a DEPUTY SCHOOL JANITOR 100% immediately or by arrangement.Your area of responsibility includes:
- Maintenance and cleaning of school buildings, outdoor facilities, the cultural hall, and the triple multi-purpose hall
- Care of the outdoor area including winter service
- Carrying out minor repairs to furniture, buildings, tools, and machines
- General janitorial work
- Ensuring cleanliness and safety at events
- Assistance with organization, preparation, and on-call service at events and
We expect:
- Training as a specialist in operational maintenance or technical/craft basic training
- Ideally experience in building cleaning and maintenance
- Customer-oriented thinking and good communication skills (school, children, and customers)
- Hands-on mentality with a high sense of responsibility and drive
- Willingness to perform on-call duties in the evening and on weekends
- Good physical condition, technical know-how, and manual skills
- Driver's license category B desired
