STAFF MANAGEMENT

• Organize and ensure the smooth operation of the business, in quality and efficiency according to the requirements of company management, practicing a modern, motivating, open and transparent leadership style
• Operational management of night and day operations managers and replace them in case of absences
• Supervise the establishment of engagement, vacation and absence schedules for approx. 55 operations staff
• Control staff absences in the Mobatime Workflow
• Close collaboration with the Operations Director in defining strategy, monitoring performance indicators and implementing optimizations
• Collaboration with the HR department regarding engagements and application of staff regulations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in accordance with SUVA standards and management directives
• Conduct annual evaluation interviews with operations managers
• Regular meetings with night and day operations managers

• Analyze and continuously improve picking processes to increase efficiency, accuracy and processing time, taking into account workloads
• Ensure and meticulously check incoming goods (quantities, quality, temperatures) and control the quality and freshness of products by applying an acceptance procedure for each delivery
• Ensure follow-up of preparation and arrival planning
• Regular and optimal use of available software programs
• Collaborate and exchange constructively with the purchasing and sales departments
• Ensure follow-up of receipt, quality control and storage of goods
• Ensure that HACCP guidelines are respected during supplier delivery

• Federal diploma or equivalent training as Operations Manager and/or Logistics Center Manager
• Minimum 5 to 10 years experience managing a logistics center in the food industry and/or transport
• Excellent mastery of Microsoft Office package, Excel level 2, and advanced knowledge of SAP HANA software
• Perfect command of French C1, spoken and written,
• Ability to understand and speak German; other languages welcome
• Knowledge of the fresh fruit and vegetable market an advantage
