Your Tasks

• You are responsible for the disciplinary and professional leadership as well as the development of a team of strategic buyers. In your role, you supervise 5-10 employees and report to the Purchasing Manager.
• You contribute to defining goals in line with the global purchasing objectives and their implementation, thereby securing the purchasing strategy within your area of responsibility.
• You identify, organize, and implement cost reduction projects.
• You independently and decisively develop procurement projects and present them in the Sourcing Board.
• Leading supplier negotiations and contract conclusion - according to specified guidelines/rules - fall within your responsibilities.

What Sets You Apart

• You have successfully completed your studies in (industrial) engineering or similar and bring several years of relevant professional experience in a company in the metal or automotive industry.
• Good knowledge of purchasing law and quality management is required.
• You have very good methodological knowledge and its application in modern project management.
• We expect strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and assertiveness.
• Confidence in contact with higher management levels is required.
• Very good German and English skills as well as willingness to travel internationally complete your profile.
