- Strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking required.

What you can achieve
- Technical and personnel leadership of the *MALE drone team (Hermes 900 HFE / Starliner ADS 15) according to business management principles as well as RUAG leadership principles to ensure strategic, operational and commercial goal achievement.
- Development of the drone business / project initiatives for drones of the VBS (large and small drones)
- Preparation of project and cost center planning as well as the cost center budget and ensuring appropriate controlling
- Ensuring fulfillment of contractual obligations towards customers and POC for all operational MALE drone topics
- Definition of the scope of work for MALE drones / material competence
- Active participation in negotiations
- Active participation in the strategic development and overall strategy of the "Drones" division
*MALE = Medium Altitude Long Endurance
What you bring with you
- Bachelor / Master degree in a technical field e.g. IT, mechanical engineering, aerospace
- Several years of professional experience or Post Doc / PhD
- Extensive expertise in the field of drones, especially in development and operational application
- Strong negotiation skills as well as sound economic and strategic thinking (MBA is an advantage)
- High self-initiative and entrepreneurial mindset
- Willingness/motivation to lead a six-person team. Leadership experience is an advantage.
- Good German and English skills in spoken and written form
