About the job
Introductory internship for scientists interested in metrology (80 - 100%)
Start: immediately or by arrangement
The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology METAS is the reference institute for measurements and measuring instruments in Switzerland. To ensure that a liter is always a liter (e.g., when refueling), METAS performs calibrations, conformity assessments, and consulting for business, research, and administration. Measurement accuracy builds trust, especially at the societal and political levels, and is indispensable in many areas: road traffic, electricity billing, time transfer, measurements in environmental and health sectors, etc. At METAS, various disciplines come together and complement each other – and this has been the case since 1862.

You will gain initial professional experience after your master's degree (without a doctorate) in a multilingual environment (German, French, English) and build a professional network.
