About the job
For the Center for Forensic Psychiatry Inpatient (ZFPS) we are looking for you as of 01.11.2025 or by arrangement
Tasks
- As part of an interdisciplinary management team (psychiatry-psychology-nursing/care), you shape the therapeutic environment and the individual treatment of patients on the secure ward KFP-1
- You supervise the psychiatric-psychotherapeutic training of the assistant physician on your ward
- For some of the measure patients, you initiate therapy under highly secure conditions.
- You conduct inpatient assessments for differential diagnostic questions and the treatability of mentally ill offenders.
- In the context of inpatient acute treatments of prison inmates, you work closely with the Psychiatric-Psychological Service (PPD) of the Lenzburg prison and the health service of the Aargau prisons.
- If interested, there is the possibility to teach at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) and to prepare forensic expert reports
Profile
- You have a specialist recognition in psychiatry and psychotherapy or are advanced in specialist training
- Your attitude towards offenders is appreciative and risk-aware
- You are interested in a modern, integrative forensic psychiatric treatment
- You enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams
