Contribute
- Ensuring and further developing medical quality, standards, and guidelines in visceral surgery in outpatient and inpatient settings with a focus on coloproctological procedures
- Responsibility for the structured training, further education, and continuing education of assistant and senior physicians
- Independent performance of visceral surgical procedures (elective and emergency) with a focus on open and laparoscopic surgery as well as involvement in surgical training
- Interest in future robot-assisted surgery
- Conducting and further developing specialized consultations as well as close interdisciplinary collaboration with gastroenterology, oncology, radiology, and intensive care medicine
- Active participation in the surgical on-call service as well as involvement in interdisciplinary tumor boards and clinical projects
Bring
- Specialist title in surgery with a focus on visceral surgery (FMH or equivalent)
- Proven operative expertise in all visceral surgery, including minimally invasive procedures; experience in oncological surgery desired
- Several years of senior physician activity at a central hospital with specialization in coloproctology
- Good knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system and the tariff system (especially TARDOC/DRG)
- Integrative, decisive, and cooperative personality with high social competence and pronounced patient orientation
- Commitment to teaching and promoting young talent as well as joy in further developing a high-performance visceral surgery team
