The employees of the Commissioning team at the SBB Workshops in Yverdon-les-Bains work on railway vehicles and components. As part of overhauls, repairs or modernisations, they carry out inspections, troubleshooting and commissioning of railway vehicles such as the RABDe500 ICN trainsets, RBDe560 DO and Re460 locomotives. Expect varied and complex work! A strong interest in technology is essential for this position. Experience in the railway sector is an advantage. What you can get moving.
- You ensure the diagnosis and commissioning of railway vehicles and components according to established guidelines.
- You regularly collaborate with engineers to resolve complex faults.
- Occasionally, you participate in the preparation of work documents, in collaboration with the technical department, and their implementation.
What you bring.
- Thanks to your professional background, you have excellent ability to work both in a team and independently. You are also willing to work irregular hours (2x8h shifts or weekends).
- You are confident in troubleshooting and have at least three years of practical experience in this field.
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma or a higher technical school qualification in electrotechnics, e.g. automation technician Federal VET Diploma, electrician Federal VET Diploma, electrical engineering technician higher technical school. For foreign diplomas, an official Swiss recognition for one of these professions must be provided with the application (legal requirement related to work on live installations).
- In terms of languages, you are fluent in French; knowledge of German is an advantage.
