Amcor Flexibles Rorschach AG, Goldach is a company of Amcor Limited, one of the world's largest suppliers of responsible packaging solutions. With around 300 employees, we refine aluminum foils and other materials into recyclable packaging materials. By arrangement, we are looking for an Automation Technician (m/f/d) who leads exciting automation projects and directly applies their skills to our modern production facilities.

Your main tasks

• Ensuring the smooth operation of our highly automated production facilities
• Analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation of electrical faults
• Maintenance and servicing of machines, systems, and peripheral devices
• Programming, optimizing, and integrating PLC controls (Siemens S7, TIA Portal)
• Electrical installations, commissioning, and conducting function tests
• Leading and participating in automation and optimization projects
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation as well as training materials

Your profile

• Completed HF/FH studies in systems engineering, electrical engineering, or automation
• Several years of experience in maintenance or commissioning of production facilities
• Solid knowledge in PLC technology (Siemens S7, TIA), control, safety and regulation technology, frequency converters, and network technology
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus
• Analytical, quality-conscious – and enjoys finding solutions
• Passion for complex systems and processes
• Team player, reliable, resilient – and proactive
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form
