The Social Department includes an assessment service, the social service for children and youth, the social service for adults, the central services, the social audit office, the health promotion office, and the employment integration office.
For the assessment service, we are looking for a
Your tasks:
- Initial assessment, networking, coordination, and initiation of immediate measures in the areas of social assistance and adult protection
- Assessments in the area of adult protection on behalf of the Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB)
- New admissions and eligibility clarification of social assistance applications
- Advice and support for individuals on material, financial, legal, and personal issues with the aim of professional and social integration
You bring with you:
- University degree in social work
- Several years of professional experience in statutory social assistance and/or adult protection
- Comprehensive knowledge of subsidiarity and social insurance issues
- Teamwork skills, flexibility, resilience, quick comprehension, as well as good organizational and administrative working methods
- Communication and conflict skills, initiative, and innovativeness
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
