- OSAP is one of the entry points for people from asylum assigned to the canton by the Confederation. They are accommodated in collective housing centers, including the one in Perreux. During their stay, they are socially supported by multidisciplinary teams and receive material assistance to meet their basic needs.
As director of the Perreux center, you lead the cantonal first reception center for asylum seekers and report directly to the head of the office. You participate in coordinating the activities deployed within the framework of the cantonal accommodation and social support system for asylum seekers assigned to the canton of Neuchâtel with the directors of other centers.
Responsible for the management and proper functioning of the center, you maintain contact, interactions, and collaboration with internal and external partners to the State. You also contribute to conflict management and mediation.
Comfortable with managing unforeseen events and communication, you demonstrate the ability to work in a constantly changing multicultural environment.
Leading a multidisciplinary team of about ten collaborators, you ensure a calm atmosphere in the center as well as within your team, while guaranteeing adequate care for people assigned to the canton by the Confederation, in accordance with the Federal Asylum Act, cantonal execution provisions, and the strategy of the office and service.
Holder of a HES bachelor’s degree in social work, management, or an equivalent qualification, and with proven experience in personnel management and supervision, you wish to apply your skills to the public sector and contribute to the reception and support of people in the asylum field.
Your managerial skills as well as your knowledge in administrative, regulatory, and financial management allow you to work autonomously and interact effectively with internal and external partners. Experience in the asylum or migration field is an asset.
Your critical and analytical mindset, combined with rigorous organization, enables you to achieve set objectives. You know how to manage stress and demonstrate flexibility when absorbing a significant and fluctuating workload. Comfortable in teamwork, you contribute to resolving sometimes conflictual situations through your responsiveness and solution-oriented approach.
