Attached to the Finance department and placed under the responsibility of the Head of Department, you will join the Payroll team and ensure the complete management of the payroll process for the City of Prilly as well as for its external entities. In this central role, you guarantee the reliability, compliance, and optimization of payroll processing, in close collaboration with the Human Resources department. Additionally, you will also provide support to the Accounting team in the context of financial accounting tasks. The Payroll team handles an annual volume of approximately CHF 28 million for 370 employees (permanent and hourly staff).
The tasks assigned to you are as follows:
- Complete processing of monthly salaries (permanent and hourly staff)
- Performing monthly checks and reconciliations (accident, maternity, APG allowances, etc.)
- Annual closing: accounting for AVS, LPP, LAA statements and issuing salary certificates
- Opening the new accounting year and salary announcements to various providers
- Budgeting salaries and social charges
- Development and monitoring of financial indicators
- Active participation, even leading, organizational and IT projects aimed at optimizing payroll management
- Occasional accounting entry tasks (post-bank)
Profile sought:
- Commercial employee CFC or equivalent training
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of Swiss social insurances
- Very good command of IT tools (ERP, office software, email)
- Knowledge of Abacus Payroll software is a real asset
- Very good accounting knowledge
- Excellent writing skills in French
