The "Analytics Real Estate" division is a project-oriented development and analysis unit within the Risk business unit of Zürcher Kantonalbank. In this division, the hedonic models for the bank's residential property valuations are developed. The department also represents and positions the bank internally and externally on the topic of the real estate market. It comprises eight employees and consists of the two teams "Real Estate Models" and "GIS Analyses".
Your tasks
- Updating and further developing the hedonic valuation models for residential property and the real estate indices for risk assessment of the mortgage portfolio
- Assessing the real estate market using data analyses and forecasting models
- Writing your own contributions in publications on the Swiss real estate market
- Collaborating with the bank's risk management and sales units
Your profile
- University degree (at least Master's level) in economics, mathematics, or a comparable field
- Applied knowledge in data analysis in e.g. R, Python, or SAS
- Quantitative skills and a solid understanding of economic contexts
- Interest in the Swiss real estate market, knowledge is an advantage
- Flair for journalistic work
- Initiative and independent, precise working style
- Ability to communicate complex topics simply and convincingly
- German as native language
