Technology Engineer (a)

Your tasks with us

• You test prototypes (machines and assemblies) in the area of cylindrical grinding
• You test new software solutions (user interface, grinding cycles) in the area of cylindrical grinding, e.g., as part of software releases
• You further develop grinding technologies in close cooperation with suppliers of grinding wheels and dressing tools
• You support the development team in new developments from a user perspective
• You take over troubleshooting as part of the 3rd-level support for current and older generations
• You train sales, process engineering, and customer service regarding technical innovations
• You support test and acceptance grinding of customer parts with higher requirements – both internally and on-site at the customer
• You present our products to customers, at trade fairs, and as part of sales support

Your profile

• You have a basic education as a polymechanic EFZ
• Ideally, you have further training in mechanical engineering or mechatronics
• You have solid technical knowledge, think creatively, and work cost-consciously
• You have manufacturing experience in grinding, grinding applications, or CNC machining
• You have knowledge of mechatronic systems in mechanical engineering
• You bring experience in cylindrical grinding
• You know Fanuc controls or are willing to learn
• You optionally have English skills
