From 1 February 2026 or by arrangement, an assistant position with a focus on communication and social media is to be filled.
The BWL staff is the central coordination office of the Department of Business Administration. It is responsible for internal and external communication as well as the study counseling for business administration. In doing so, the staff maintains and strengthens the relationships between the department, the students, university offices, and companies.
Tasks- Strategic development and establishment of the social media presence of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences (including concept, guidelines, content strategy)
- Responsibility for the LinkedIn channel: editorial planning, content creation, monitoring, analysis, and success measurement
- Conceptualization and realization of target group- and media-appropriate content (text, graphic, and video content)
- Planning and execution of video productions in cooperation with external partners
- Editing and management of the monthly BWL blog
- Conceptualization, organization, and execution of information events and events for prospective, new, and existing BWL students of all levels (Bachelor, Master, Doctorate)
- Design and management of communication materials
- Maintenance, revision, and optimization of the department's websites
- Assistance with various communication projects
Requirements
- Student with a major or large minor in business administration (preferably bachelor level)
- Enjoyment in text, graphic, and video creation and editing
- Interest in content creation and social media
- Solid PC user skills, knowledge in image editing and video production is an advantage
- Creative and innovative personality
- Communicative and a team player
- Good self-organization, reliable and independent working style
- Confident German and very good English skills
