Your tasks

• Overall responsibility for the financial accounting team as well as its professional and personnel development
• Further development of internal services, processes, and systems with a focus on efficiency and digitization
• Management and implementation of internal projects in the finance department
• Responsibility for managing the main and subsidiary ledgers in close cooperation with the accounting circle managers
• Participation in business and liquidity planning and co-design of a group-wide controlling system
• Ensuring smooth invoicing and timely preparation of monthly financial statements
• Support with operational activities such as bookings, clarifications, or dunning processes
• Preparation of meaningful financial reports for management.
• Compliance with all legal and accounting requirements
• Collaboration with external auditors as well as direct communication with management

Your profile

• Several years of experience in finance and accounting as well as enjoyment in developing a team both professionally and personally
• Federal diploma in finance and accounting, as a controller, or a comparable qualification
• Ideally experience in the service industry or project-based environment.
• Solid know-how in:
• Financial accounting, project invoicing, accounting as well as monthly and annual financial statements
• Business planning and controlling
• Entrepreneurial thinking and a confident sense for business contexts
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus
• Structured, independent working style combined with a hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for digitization
• Strong communication skills, team spirit, and solution-oriented action complete your profile
