Department Head IT Operations & Applications (m/f/d) 80 - 100%

• 2nd-level support for specialist applications and to a small extent IT infrastructures: analysis and processing of complex support cases, reproduction, documentation, and case-closing solution in collaboration with our partners
• Support of employees in IT service as well as conducting training on application-related topics
• Coordination of incidents, changes, and releases - operational implementation by our partner companies; control, prioritization, and monitoring on our own side
• Monitoring, coordination, and further development of existing IT services in close cooperation with the business and system partners
• Ensuring service quality, compliance with service level agreements (SLA), as well as preparation of regular reports, participation in IT general controls
• Responsibility for the infrastructures used together with our partner Bison
• Responsibility for application management of the systems used (including availability, functionality, release planning, and lifecycle)
• Ensuring correct asset and license management as well as proper use and administration of IT resources
• Close coordination with internal stakeholders on new requirements, changes, or process adjustments including technical project management
• Leading a small operations team with four employees

• Completed training as an IT specialist, business IT specialist, or comparable professional experience
• Solid understanding of IT service processes (incident, change, release, SLA management)
• Experience in transport and warehouse logistics is an advantage
• Strong communication and coordination skills, high service orientation, and the ability to set priorities in a structured, independent, and patient manner in a dynamic environment and to respond flexibly to changes
• Analytical, networked thinking with interest in business processes and specialist applications, complemented by very good German skills (additional languages are an advantage)
• Proactive personality who likes to work independently in a dynamic environment
