Test Drive Expert
What awaits you:
- Plan and independently conduct test drives for internal and external clients
- Accompany acceptance tests and transfers of locomotives and safely bring new vehicles onto the track
- Support the team with operational and technical questions
- Assist train drivers and workshop staff with malfunctions, either by phone or directly on site
- Provide the relevant data for operations (railway undertakings) and manage the systems for information exchange between operations and maintenance
- Regularly be in the cab and keep your driving practice in freight traffic up to date
What you bring with you:
- Several years of experience as a Category B train driver, ideally in freight traffic or in the context of test and acceptance drives
- Broad operational know-how as well as sound knowledge of modern locomotives
- The ability to anticipate complex test procedures and keep an overview even in demanding situations
- Flexibility for assignments at different times of day and off-peak hours
- Organisational talent, stamina and the ability to successfully coordinate various stakeholders
