The most important pillar of Pro Natura's unrestricted funding is the approximately 175,000 members. The position aims to maintain or, according to strategic guidelines, increase the membership base.

What main tasks await you?

• Member acquisition: You design and plan our door-to-door and stand advertising campaigns with our external partners. In doing so, you maintain and train the door recruiters and/or dialoguers, budget and control income and expenses, and ensure correct data collection.
• You are responsible for national member acquisition in all parts of the country – in particular, you newly implement D2D advertising in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland.
• Member retention: You are responsible for welcoming and anniversaries of members. You maintain direct contact with members and interested parties, ensure the debit of annual fees via LSV, and create incentives for member retention.
• Upgrade and retention measures: You plan retention measures and touchpoints for members within the donor journey and further develop them. You accompany and plan the implementation with the most promising instruments and channels and support team colleagues in the respective interface areas, especially with the members plus. You have a large scope for design and opportunities to contribute creatively.

What do you bring?

• You have several years of experience in member or donation acquisition in face-to-face fundraising, ideally in door-to-door advertising.
• A CAS/DAS degree in fundraising, a university or university of applied sciences degree, or relevant professional experience covering key skills and competencies in fundraising.
• You have pronounced enthusiasm and persuasiveness, especially in training situations and direct contact with members.
• You have a quick grasp, high independence and analytical skills, as well as an affinity for numbers, combined with a solid understanding of entrepreneurial work processes.
• You think conceptually and are willing to test new things as well as maintain proven methods.
• You are used to working within tight deadlines and are well organized.
• You have very good expression in German, good French skills (B2), and possibly can communicate in Italian as well.
