As part of a position renewal within the vehicle manufacturing department, we are offering a position:
Versatile Locksmith
Your mission
Reporting to the vehicle manufacturing manager, you will be required to carry out various maintenance, repair, and overhaul work on vehicles and infrastructure as well as various assembly and welding tasks on parts, in order to provide different internal and external clients, within the best deadlines, a quality of service that meets their needs, in compliance with rules, standards, and directives. Provide support to the entire manufacturing group.
Your main responsibilities
• Based on the transmitted drawings, carry out various locksmith tasks (tracing, marking, assembly) to achieve a result conforming to the established plans,
• perform various repair and overhaul tasks according to current prescriptions or received directives and communicate, if necessary, the necessary instructions to the specialized employee, in order to restore the vehicle to working order and the infrastructure to condition within the best deadlines,
• perform various welding tasks (MIG, MAG, and TIG), bonding, and shaping of vehicle parts or in substations to restore equipment,
• carry out various maintenance and adjustments of locksmith machines to restore equipment to working order within the best deadlines.
Your profile
• CFC locksmith or equivalent qualification,
• 4 years of professional experience in locksmithing, welding, and/or piping preferably in an automotive or industrial company,
• good knowledge of vehicles and installations is a plus, equipment and materials in terms of locksmithing and welding, as well as the products used,
• necessary technical knowledge of vehicles (TB-AB-TW), and welding certification is an asset.
• very good ability to learn new tasks, curiosity, and adaptability.
