Income Auditor M/F
At Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, our financial operations grow thanks to the commitment of colleagues. Equipped with interpersonal skills, precise and comfortable with cash and computer systems, the Income Auditor controls revenues and payment methods – cash and credit cards.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities and essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Consistently provide a professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Audit revenues and send the daily revenue report
- Verify and regularize discrepancies between Silverware, Opera, and Book4Time interfaces
- Manage the Scan Coin machine (main cash register) and account for the Front Office, F&B, and Spa cash registers
- Regularly check cash balances in the Scan Coin, parking, and main safe reserves
- Record and reconcile credit card payments
- Ensure the application of PCI-DSS security procedures for credit cards and provide training for new employees
- Monitor access allocations to the hotel's various parking lots
- Monitor cash fund allocations for hotel users
- Assist in managing Guest Ledger in cooperation with City Ledger, Banquets, and Front Office
- Participate in inventories and inventory controls
- Consistently provide a professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Comply with department policies and procedures
- Comply with all safety policies
- Adhere to ergonomic work standards in health & safety rules
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience of 6 months in an administrative position or knowledge of hotel and restaurant operations required
- A commercial employee diploma in a related discipline or hotel school diploma required
- Fluency in French
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Ability to use Microsoft Windows applications or other suitable applications required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Particularly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work in a close-knit team
- Ability to focus attention on guests' needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
VISA REQUIREMENTS
To be able to work in Switzerland, the candidate must have a Swiss work permit or be from an EU-17 or EU-8 European country.
