About the job
The company PQM Consulting AG based in Pfäffikon SZ is a renowned IT company specializing in quality assurance and quality management. The company offers its customers professional support in optimizing their quality requirements and divides its core competencies into four main components: project/risk management, quality management, requirements management, and process management.We are looking for a Senior Embedded Tester (from 5-80 years), for a long-term assignment directly with our customer in the Zurich area starting from 01.06.2026. The employment is internal at PQM Consulting AG.
Main tasks:
- Writing test cases based on requirements as well as effort estimation
- Executing and documenting test cases as well as evidencing and maintaining them
- Identifying, documenting, evaluating, prioritizing, and retesting defects
- Assigning defects to developers, monitoring, and following up
- Creating test status reports and test reports (E045 test evidence)
- Supporting the automation of test cases
- Defining and procuring test data
Requirements (content, methodology, technology):
- Completed studies in computer science
- Several years of experience in software testing as a test engineer or developer, ideally experience in the banking and/or credit card environment as well as experience in test automation using SoapUI, JMeter, and Selenium
- Knowledge of test methods and test processes in embedded software development
- Experience in unit testing as well as tools like Visual Studio, C#, git, Jenkins
- High self-organization, proactivity, and teamwork skills
- ISTQB certification in software testing is an advantage
- German: fluent at least B2
- English: fluent at least B2
