Your Tasks
- You are responsible for the entire culinary management and the smooth operation of our kitchen. Your task is to ensure the quality of our dishes, maintain the highest hygiene and safety standards, and use resources efficiently.
- You take over complaint management in the culinary area in cooperation with the restaurant management.
- You lead and organize the entire kitchen operation including the dishwashing kitchen, lead your team operationally by example, and ensure clear processes in everyday life.
- You are responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, and managing the kitchen and dishwashing staff, create LGAV-compliant work schedules, monitor hours and absences, and distribute tasks efficiently.
- By regularly reviewing preparation methods and presentation, you ensure the quality of our dishes so that we can always offer our guests first-class meals.
- You are responsible for compliance with and implementation of HAACCP guidelines and conduct continuous team training.
- You develop new recipes and menus to continuously improve current trends as well as our culinary offerings and to inspire our guests.
- In cooperation with the restaurant management, you are responsible for ordering and inventory management.
- You keep an eye on goals, key figures, and costs, ensure controlling in the kitchen area, and derive concrete optimizations for staff and material costs.
- You work environmentally conscious and sustainably throughout the kitchen area, check delivery notes and invoices, and ensure timely approval of invoices.

Your Profile
- You have at least 5 years of experience in gastronomy or hospitality (system gastronomy is an advantage), including at least 2 years as a sous chef or in a leadership position.
- With your excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and practices, you keep the foundation of gastronomy in view.
- Your solid knowledge of food preparation and presentation, as well as your creativity and innovative spirit, make you responsible for developing the food offering including recipes and cost calculations.
- Professional knowledge regarding allergies and intolerances
- You are resilient, flexible, and the ability to work under pressure is part of your routine without compromising quality.
- You have very good German skills in speaking and writing and command English in communication.
- You possess the ability to lead, motivate, and train a team as well as to use targeted development to achieve high service quality.
- Clear communication and the ability to collaborate with various departments and suppliers come naturally to you.
- You are currently in a sous chef position and are ready to take the next career step.
