In the area of personal insurance, we are looking to strengthen the Daily Sickness Allowance team with a Team Leader Daily Sickness Allowance (80 to 100%) based in Wankdorf. The role includes leading a team of specialized caseworkers on the one hand and handling a small portion of claims files on the other.

Your tasks:

• You support and advise your employees professionally in the files
• You organize and coordinate the work of your group: conducting team meetings, one-on-one discussions, planning substitutions, etc.
• You actively participate in management meetings and work closely with the branch manager and other team leaders
• You train your employees (8-10 people) and ensure the correct application of processing guidelines
• You plan, organize, and control the processing of your team’s benefit cases and actively participate in improving and simplifying processes
• You independently and proactively handle part of the claims cases of your own client portfolio (from the opening, in close cooperation with trusted doctors and our care managers)
• You maintain regular contact with partners, insured persons, employers, and service providers

Your profile:

• Professional certificate in insurance or equivalent education
• Proven and solid experience in the area of daily sickness allowance benefits
• Leadership personality with experience in team management and decisiveness
• Very good knowledge of German
• French skills are an advantage
• Confident handling of common IT tools (MS Office)
