iwaz operates as a social enterprise offering assisted living, training, and work opportunities, serves as a service provider for industry and rehabilitation technology, and is a venue for seminars, cultural events, and gastronomic experiences in Wetzikon.
The venue features two gastronomy areas with different focuses and clientele. The iwaz Clubhouse offers enjoyable gastronomic experiences for private and public occasions with up to 200 guests for banquets, seminars, cultural, and business events. Our iwaz Bistro, designed as a self-service community gastronomy, prepares up to 300 meals daily for employees, trainees, and residents of iwaz.
As an integration partner, we offer professionally managed training positions and provide jobs for people with disabilities.

Cook EFZ 100%
As a specialist, you will participate in the development of operational processes, in the design and production of own products, and support the implementation of daily operations as a team member. You are interested in delivering good quality, want to contribute your expertise and experience, and enjoy working resource-oriented with employees requiring assistance and trainees.
Your Tasks
- Active professional and productive implementation of production processes in all areas (à-la-carte and banquet area, as well as staff and resident catering and product manufacturing)
- Participation in the development of operational processes, own products, offer and menu planning, and diet menus
- Proper processing and preparation of seasonal and fresh foods
- Guiding and supervising employees requiring assistance and trainees
- Assisting in the implementation of our GHP hygiene standards and material management
You Bring
- Enjoyment of the profession and completed vocational training as a Cook EFZ
- Professional experience and knowledge in sustainable production techniques
- Independent working style and enjoyment of teamwork
- Interest in contributing to change processes and taking on tasks
- Good German language skills
- Experience in pedagogy is an advantage or willingness to further training in this area
What You Can Expect From Us
- 5-6 weeks vacation, 41 hours/week and 30 minutes paid breaks and changing time
- No on-call duty, usually regular working hours 08:00 – 17:00 / 09:30 – 18:45
