IT Specialist

DFINITY is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking IT Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the innovation core, significantly shaping our technological infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and Improve IT Operations: Support company growth by ensuring IT systems are scalable, resilient, and efficient.

  • Collaborate on Security: Work with security and platform teams to fortify our digital landscape against evolving threats.

  • Automate Employee Lifecycle Processes: Enhance efficiency and the employee experience from onboarding to offboarding through automation.

  • Comprehensive IT Support: From troubleshooting to advanced management, ensure our systems are reliable and optimized.

  • Maintain Documentation: Keep our IT infrastructure and procedural documentation current and accessible.

  • Network Management: Manage Cisco Meraki systems and resolve issues swiftly, maintaining network security and reliability.

  • Vendor Liaison: Negotiate with vendors to optimize costs and performance, ensuring quality service and advantageous contracts.

  • Lead IT Training: Educate employees on IT best practices, enhancing our organizational knowledge base.

  • Implement Automation Projects: Drive IT operational efficiency through innovative automation solutions.

  • Administer Systems and Tools: Manage MDM and IDP systems (with a focus on Kandji and Okta), and oversee our SaaS portfolio, including Atlassian tools and platforms like Slack and Google Workspace.

  • Champion Web3 Transition: Identify opportunities for utilizing Web3 technologies for innovative enterprise solutions.

  • Stay Informed: Keep abreast of the latest tech trends to inform our IT strategies and solutions.

Qualifications:


  • Experience: Proven background in Systems Engineering, IT support, or similar, with extensive experience (e.g., 5+ years) working on a variety of IT challenges.

  • Technical Skills: Expertise in scripting, proficiency with MDM solutions (especially Kandji), and extensive experience with IDP systems like Okta (including SAML and SCIM).

  • Tool Proficiency: Skilled in administering Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Opsgenie) and proficient with collaboration tools like Slack and Google Workspace.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, proven success in cross-departmental collaboration, and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.

  • Web3 Enthusiasm: A strong interest in Web3 technologies, ideally with project or research experience, and a proactive approach to innovation.

  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a focus on customer and team-centric solutions.

  • Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
