Our mission: We safely power your flight. As a Multi-skilled Mechanic (m/f) – Engine Gearbox Assembly/Disassembly you will:
Your tasks
- Assemble and disassemble engine gearboxes and components per manufacturer specs and technical drawings
- Perform general mechanical assembly tasks on engine and gear systems
- Inspect and document components for dimensional accuracy and damage
- Read and apply technical documentation, such as Maintenance Manuals (AMM, CMM)
- Support process improvements and implement new technologies using Lean methods (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, 5S)
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations (e.g., EASA Part-145) and internal quality/safety standards
- Assist adjacent departments as needed (inspections, logistics, repair coordination)
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training in a mechanical trade, ideally polytechnic, industrial mechanic, or similar
- Experience in aviation or high-precision mechanical environments is a plus
- Precise, structured, independent, and quality-focused working style
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and operational flexibility
- Able to work efficiently under time pressure and in a 2-shift system
- Motivation for continuous professional development and aviation certifications
- Good German and English skills; solid IT knowledge (MS Office, SAP/ERP advantageous)
