The IT PMO is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and PMO standards. You will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, while also facilitating communication and collaboration among stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess a deep understanding of project management methodologies (waterfall and agile), and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.This position is available in either Vienna, Austria, or Lachen, Switzerland. Candidates may indicate their preferred location.
Your new Challenges which will inspire you:
- Lead Global IT Infrastructure and Business Application Projects and oversee project teams across all Octapharma sites
- Take charge of the entire project lifecycle (Project Planning, Execution, and Delivery)
- Manage team members and external contractors effectively
- Address and resolve project-related challenges regarding Risk and Change Management
- Ensure smooth collaboration between internal teams and third-party contractors
- Enhance project quality and execution, supporting agile methodologies and global IT project progress
Your profile that will convince us:
- University degree in computer science, business administration, or equivalent experience
- At least 7 years experiencein project management
- Strong knowledge of PMI-oriented and agile processes,PMP certification is a plus
- Familiarity with MS Project or other project management tools
- Fluent in English, written and oral. German is a plus
- Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
