Vigier Cement has been manufacturing cement in the Reuchenette gorge, near Biel, since 1896. With a production of around 900,000 tons per year, we are one of the leading cement manufacturers in Switzerland. We play a pioneering role in the production of Portland cement and combine tradition and innovation: our range includes high-quality cement types tailored to market needs, as well as high-level service offerings. During the four years of apprenticeship, you will learn how to create, maintain, and repair electrical installations on our production facilities, machines, and equipment. You will also learn how to commission the relevant systems, read planning documents, and implement the resulting activities.
For this future-oriented job, you will need manual skills, good technical understanding, abstract and logical thinking, and fine motor skills. If you are sociable, have a sense of humor and team spirit, have good grades in mathematics, and will finish school in summer 2026, then contact us.
