About the job
Partner Engagement Specialist
The World Economic Forum brings together leaders from business, government, academia, and civil society to address global challenges and improve the state of the world.

Why we are hiring
FFA seeks a Partner Engagement Specialist to support partner engagement, events and the delivery of strategic interventions in critical forest landscapes globally.

And yet there are emerging opportunities in this forest investing space. The Partner Engagement Specialist will support the FFA community by project managing team processes related to the recruitment and retention of private sector and philanthropic investors, our annual events schedule and the identification and support to landscapes. The role will require stakeholder management and coordination skills across investors, corporates, and philanthropic counterparts and the FFA team.

Responsibilities include
- Support the project management for the identification, assessment and profiling of scalable investment opportunities, from innovative financial models, business models and critical forest landscapes.
- Provide operational and coordination support for stakeholder management to ensure partner engagement targets at met across the team (e.g., briefings, tracking actions, meeting preparation and follow-up).
- Ensure the FFA partner directory is maintained and updated throughout the year, for our FFA community to access and connect with innovators and implementation partners globally.
- Support the organization of relevant virtual learning as well as in-person convenings at Forum and FFA events.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge assets, content and communication materials, working with the team.
Requirements and experience
- 3-5 years of relevant experience across project management and partner engagement.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills across investors, corporates, philanthropy and innovators.
- Digital proficiency and a strong understanding of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
- Excellent written and spoken English. French, Spanish and/or Portuguese would be considered a plus.
Skills
- Team player with the ability to absorb, synthesize and develop a wide variety of insights, combined with strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Strong project management skills including demonstrated ability to drive progress and prioritize and deliver on key activities such as convenings, partnerships and content curation.
- Ability to connect the dots in a complex matrix environment; strong collaboration skills, with disciplined and consistent follow-through for internal and external parties.
- Strong entrepreneurial and collaborative attitude.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
To be successful, you should
- Be solutions-oriented, proactive, responsive to feedback, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.
