For the implementation of exciting projects and the operation of our highly available data centers, we are looking for you as a Senior System Engineer IT/OT.Your area of responsibility
- Design of the entire lifecycle of the IT infrastructure in the data centers
Together with our Datacenter Engineering Team, you are significantly involved in designing the entire lifecycle of our IT infrastructure in the data centers. This includes planning, implementation, maintenance, and continuous optimization of the systems. The goal is to ensure a stable, high-performance, and future-proof infrastructure that meets the company's requirements.
- Support in the operational management of the data center platforms
You play a central role in the daily operation of our data center platforms. This includes monitoring the systems, identifying and resolving faults, and ensuring smooth operation. Your work helps ensure that the platforms function reliably and efficiently to optimally support business processes.
- Development of solution architectures and concepts in the IT/OT environment
In this role, you develop innovative solution architectures and concepts specifically focused on the interface between Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT). You analyze existing systems, identify improvement potentials, and develop strategies to optimize the integration and collaboration between IT and OT.
- Project management for the commissioning of new systems and data centers
You take on the leadership of projects focused on the introduction of new systems and the commissioning of data centers. This includes coordinating teams, adhering to schedules and budgets, and ensuring that all technical and operational requirements are met. Your leadership skills and technical expertise are crucial to successfully completing these projects.
Your skills
- Completed education in a relevant field
A successfully completed education in industrial automation, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable qualification forms the basis for this position. This education enables you to competently master the technical challenges of the work environment.
- Professional experience as an IT/OT System Engineer
You have several years of relevant experience as an IT/OT System Engineer, ideally in the SCADA environment. This experience allows you to understand, implement, and optimize complex systems.
- In-depth knowledge of fieldbus protocols
You bring profound knowledge in handling fieldbus protocols, especially in the data center environment. Experience with protocols such as Modbus and Bacnet is particularly desirable, as these play a central role in your future area of activity.
- Experience with specific software solutions
Practical experience with software solutions like Ignition and N3uron is a plus. These skills help you efficiently use modern technologies and develop innovative solutions.
- Analytical and structured thinking skills
You are characterized by a strong analytical and structured way of thinking. Your ability to analyze complex problems and develop targeted solutions is an essential part of your working style.
- Teamwork and independent working
You are a true team player with high resilience and communication skills. At the same time, you work independently and bring a proactive approach to your tasks.
- Language skills
Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written, are important to communicate effectively and act successfully in an international work environment.
