About the job

The Heilpädagogische Zentrum Hagendorn is specialized in the education and care of children and adolescents with cognitive and/or multiple disabilities. We are looking for you by arrangement as a co-residential group leader for our residential group. This group cares for adolescents aged approximately 15 to 18 years.

Your Tasks

Co-lead a residential group in operational, educational, and personnel matters
Accompany the adolescents in daily group life
Create a diverse educational offer that enables the adolescents optimal social and individual development
Work as a reference person as a social pedagogue
Coordinate cooperation with parents and legal representatives
Lead, develop, and coach the approximately 8 subordinate employees
Participate in creating the personnel deployment planning
Contribute to school development projects and/or quality assurance processes

Your Profile

Completed training in social pedagogy
Professional experience in caring for adolescents with cognitive impairments and initial leadership experience is an advantage
Practice trainer (PA) desirable or willingness to complete the corresponding further training
Knowledge of the ICF (International Classification of Functioning) or interest in acquiring it
Resilient and innovative personality
Confident appearance and good communication skills
Willingness to work irregular hours (occasional weekend shifts, no night shifts)
