Schlieren is a dynamic, growing city in the Limmat Valley with around 20,000 inhabitants. In total, about 2,200 children and young people attend the six schools in Schlieren. They are taught by around 270 teachers. Together with the employees of other services, around 460 people work for the Schlieren school.
To complement our team, we are looking for a service-oriented, trustworthy, independent, and flexible personality as Assistant to the Head of Education.
Assistant Head of Education 60% from January 5, 2026 or by arrangement
You will support the Head of Education in all administrative, organizational, and project-related tasks. In doing so, you ensure the independent, timely, and professionally competent completion of the described and assigned tasks.
Your main tasks
- Support the Head of Education in organizational and administrative matters
- Planning, coordination, and follow-up of appointments, meetings, and projects
- Organization and supervision of events and occasions
- Participation in projects and independent management of subprojects
- Handling internal and external correspondence
- Creation and editing of presentations, reports, and documentation
- Document management and filing organization
Your profile
- Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally in the education sector
- Team-oriented and flexible personality with joy in collaborating with various contact groups as well as in precise and varied work
- High reliability, organizational talent, and a pronounced service-oriented working style
- Digital affinity as well as interest in current developments and trends - you use new tools and technologies profitably
- Experience in project management and independent implementation of smaller projects
