With nearly 1,400 employees, the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics (DRG) is a medical center focused on the elderly, spread over 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour, and Joli-Mont.
It manages acute situations, notably through the geriatric emergency services and the intermediate care at the Trois-Chêne Hospital, acute units some of which focus on geriatric syndromes, units for geriatric rehabilitation , musculoskeletal, cardiological , neurological and oncological rehabilitation, and long-term care units. It also includes a specialized palliative care service, a community geriatrics unit , a liaison geriatrics unit, and the Memory Center .
Job Description
The Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics is looking for its future reception officer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing patients, the public, and staff with a courteous, personalized, and competent welcome, both face-to-face and by phone.
Your dynamism, sense of service and hospitality, and respect for confidentiality are qualities already recognized and highlighted.
You provide information, direct, and even accompany anyone presenting themselves at the receptions and collaborate with other services involved in the reception chain (admissions, care units, consultation centers, etc.). You are capable of working independently while demonstrating mutual support and collaboration.
You handle all admission formalities for outpatient and hospitalized patients, ensuring compliance with institutional procedures. To do this, you rely on your excellent organizational skills, respect for procedures, and your ability to manage priorities and stress.
You contribute to the monitoring and security of the establishment.
You mainly work weekends, public holidays, and evenings (until 8:30 p.m.).
Qualifications
You must be currently pursuing higher education and have a very good command of the French language (another language is an asset).
You are comfortable in hospital and geriatric environments.
You are perfectly comfortable with computer tools.
Dynamic and autonomous, you enjoy working in a team and have strong interpersonal skills.
