The Salome Brunner Foundation is committed to around 300 children and adolescents with speech development disorders and learning difficulties. With our various schools, we see ourselves as an important part of the educational landscape of the Canton of Bern. The Wabern Speech Therapy School is a special public school for children and adolescents with severe speech development disorders and intellectual disabilities and comprises 21 classes from primary level to the vocational preparation school year (BVS). Small classes allow for addressing the individual needs of the students. Speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy are provided as individual therapies. Tasks

- You teach 14 lessons to a secondary school class (7th to 9th grade) with 8 students - including 4 lessons in team teaching/half-class instruction - all students are affected by speech and learning impairments - working days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday

Requirements

- completed studies in special needs education or a teaching diploma and teaching experience in the special education field - joy and interest in working with adolescents with special needs in the areas of language, communication, and learning - open, team-oriented, and flexible
