Spitex Chur

Every 40th resident of Chur is a customer of ours. We are deployed daily to 700 customers. With around 180 employees, we are the largest Spitex organization in the canton of Graubünden and provide nursing and care services for people so that they can live independently in their familiar environment despite age- or illness-related limitations. 

Our employees organize their daily work independently and autonomously. You actively contribute to shaping and further developing the operation according to societal requirements.

Specialist Nurse HF/FH Dementia

Your Tasks

• Caring for and supporting physically and mentally ill and disabled people in all phases of life with different sociocultural backgrounds, focusing on people with dementia
• Needs assessments together with customers involving their relatives
• Designing the care situation together and in consultation with relatives
• Interprofessional collaboration with general practitioners and specialist agencies, such as Alzheimer Graubünden
• Participation in the development and professionalization of the expertise in outpatient care of people with dementia at Spitex Chur
• Guidance and support of employees in field assignments
• Contributing expertise and experience on the topic of dementia
• Co-responsibility for evidence-based care quality
• On-call duty

Your Profile

• Completed training as a certified nurse HF/FH
• Professional experience in the field of dementia
• Specialized further training in the field of dementia or willingness to complete it
• Organized and flexible working style
• Sense of responsibility and high independence
• High quality standards for own work
• Empathy and good observation skills
• Strong advisory, communication, and social skills
• Tolerance and openness towards people of all ages and different cultures
• Driver's license category B
