Our "Property & Buildings" division wishes to continue developing its "Envelope" unit, so we are looking for a new team member based in Lausanne as a

Building Envelope Design Engineer 80-100%

In this role, you will join a multidisciplinary team that embodies our company’s core values: solidarity, passion for complex and large-scale projects, innovation spirit, and friendliness.

YOUR NEW ROLE:

• Design and size metal glazed constructions and facades as well as architectural building envelopes
• Carry out technical studies, static and thermal calculations, and basic study plans
• Collaborate with draftsmen, project managers, engineers, and clients
• Participate in internal and external coordination meetings
• Ensure compliance with Swiss standards, deadlines, and quality

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• HES/EPFL engineering degree in metal construction, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
• Proven experience in aluminum-glass facades or building envelope field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, LogiKal, RFEM, Flixo, SolidWorks software
• Good knowledge of SIA standards, materials (aluminum, glass, steel, wood, facade coatings), and building physics
• Autonomy, rigor, sense of responsibility, and team spirit
• Fluency in French is essential; knowledge of German or English is a plus
