Your mission:
- supervise the staff and organize the resources of the HFR recovery room service
- manage the anesthesia department in partnership with the other ICUS
- lead the nursing team independently and position yourself as a leader
- work closely with the nursing management team and the medical staff
- actively participate in care and ensure the quality of services provided to patients
- supervise the practical training EPD ES in collaboration with the nursing training center and the practical training manager
- actively participate in interprofessional work in a constructive spirit and transmit necessary information to team members, the head nurse of the department, and doctors to ensure good communication
- lead improvement projects in collaboration with clinical nurses and successfully achieve the department's objectives
Your profile:
- Bachelor of Science HES-SO in nursing or an equivalent and recognized title by the Swiss Red Cross
- expert title in anesthesia nursing
- proven experience in an anesthesia department (minimum 3 years)
- diploma in proximity management or equivalent training or willingness to undertake it
- ability to prioritize and manage unforeseen events
- relational skills, communication and negotiation skills
- proactive, dynamic and flexible attitude
- mastery of French or German with good knowledge of the other language

Tasks
- You lead the staff and organize the resources of the department in the HFR recovery room.
- You manage the anesthesia department together with a second ward manager
- You lead the nursing team independently and with leadership skills
- You work closely with the nursing management team and the medical staff
- You actively participate in nursing and take responsibility for the quality of nursing services
- You design the practical part of the NDS HF training in collaboration with the Nursing Vocational Training Center and the head of practical training
- You participate constructively and actively in interdisciplinary activities and pass on the necessary information to team members, nursing department management, and medical staff to ensure smooth communication
- You carry out improvement projects for the department in collaboration with nursing experts and implement the department's goals
Profile
- Bachelor of Science FH in nursing or equivalent degree recognized by the SRK
- Dipl. Expert in anesthesia nursing
- Proven experience in an anesthesia department (at least 3 years)
- Basic management training or equivalent education (or willingness to complete the corresponding training)
- Ability to prioritize and handle unforeseen situations
- Social skills, communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive and dynamic attitude, flexibility
- German or French with good knowledge of the other language
