On the occasion of the 1st meeting of the Residents' Council on January 14, 2021, the following resolutions were made:
AGENDA ITEM 1 Opening of the meeting by the senior president, ER Peter Gloor.
AGENDA ITEM 2 Election of two vote counters for the
appointment of the council office
Ernst Schläpfer and Isabella Zellweger are nominated and elected. Fabienne Witschi is appointed as the recorder. Thus, the provisional council office consists of Isabella Zellweger,
Ernst Schläpfer, Peter Gloor, and Fabienne Witschi.
AGENDA ITEM 3 Election of the Residents' Council President for the year 2021
The SVP proposes Herbert Hirsiger for election.
Herbert Hirsiger is elected Residents' Council President for the year 2021 with 19 votes.
AGENDA ITEM 4 Election of the Vice President of the Residents' Council for the year 2021
The AL-Green-Young Greens faction proposes Urs Hinnen for election.
Urs Hinnen is elected Vice President for the year 2021 with 17 votes. Urs Schüpbach received one vote.

AGENDA ITEM 14 Report and motion regarding the increase of the school management workload as of February 1, 2021
Motion:
The total workload of the school management will be increased by 70 percent to 410 percent as of February 1, 2021.
The motion is approved unanimously with 20 to 0 votes.

AGENDA ITEM 15 Report and motion regarding the redesign of the industrial area
Residents' Council Bernhard Koller (EDU) submits a motion for referral. This is rejected with 18 to
1 votes.
Motion of the preliminary commission:
The Residents' Council must vote on the area to be paved. The options are

2 the previous area of 460 m and a larger area of 680 m . If the
Residents' Council decides on the larger area, this will result in additional costs of around CHF 70,000.--,
which must then be added to the costs in the two final motions, totaling CHF 1.467 million. Furthermore, this plan change must be publicly displayed again after the Residents' Council decision.
The larger area is approved with 19 to 1 votes.
Final vote:
Motion 1:
For the redesign of the industrial area according to the project on display from May 3, 2019, in the version of January 6, 2021, a net credit of CHF 1.467 million is approved. This
credit is based on the status of the Zurich construction cost index as of April 1
The motion is approved with 18 to 0 votes (with 2 abstentions).
Motion 2:
To finance the redesign of the industrial area, CHF 1.467 million will be withdrawn from the municipal development fund.
The motion is approved with 18 to 0 votes (with 2 abstentions).
