The Education Center for Health and Social Affairs (BGS) is a public-law institution of the Canton of Graubünden, responsible for education and training in the field of health and social professions. The school's spectrum includes vocational basic education at secondary level II, including vocational baccalaureate, education and training as well as postgraduate studies at tertiary level, topic-specific courses, workshops and seminars. In the development and expansion of study programs and courses in the health sector, BGS plays a key role. In addition to recognized educational programs, BGS offers learners, students, continuing education participants and around 90 employees the best possible conditions for their education and training as well as for work.
We are looking for a member of the school board for BGS starting July 1, 2026.
- Based on the law on training institutions in the health and social sector (AGSG), the school board and its management are elected by the government. The part-time position as a member of the strategic body is to be newly filled as of July 1, 2026.
- Communication strength, assertiveness and the ability to work process-oriented, flexibly and interdisciplinarily are among your strengths to shape change processes purposefully and prudently in the school board. To strengthen the profile breadth of the entire school board, knowledge in finance and accounting is of great importance.
- You have knowledge of the health and social sector. Knowledge of the landscape of training offerings in the health sector at vocational and tertiary level as well as the main actors in the Canton of Graubünden is an advantage, and you possess the necessary political sensitivity for health issues.
- Finally, you have the strategic flair and the ability to further develop cooperation with institutions inside and outside the canton.
- You are a committed personality who significantly contributes to connecting the institution with regionally relevant industries and users. You have a close connection to practice and bring strong commitment to the education and development of the school's students. Good knowledge of several cantonal languages rounds off your profile.
