The Office for Energy and Transport is the cantonal centre of expertise for questions in the areas of energy and public transport. In the field of public transport, we are responsible for the strategic planning and mutual coordination of all public transport in the canton of Graubünden. We coordinate public transport by rail and bus and take the lead in the planning, design and implementation of projects for a future-oriented public transport system. Good connections to the national and international rail network as well as regular and frequent services in regional and commuter traffic are of central importance for maintaining and further developing the living, tourism and economic area of Graubünden.

We are looking for a Controller Public Transport Ordering Procedure for the Office for Energy and Transport from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

Your area of responsibility

• Implementation of the ordering procedure for regional public transport (RPV) for individual public transport companies (road and rail)
• Handling demanding business management and financial legal issues related to public transport
• Ordering rail freight services in the canton of Graubünden
• Professional assessment of operating resource applications according to ARPV
• Professional assessment of funding applications
• Representing the canton’s interests in tariff associations

What we expect from you

• Enthusiasm for a strong and economical public transport system in the canton of Graubünden
• University or university of applied sciences degree in business administration or several years of qualified professional experience in controlling, auditing, finance or a related field
• Knowledge of the public transport financing system or a comparably complex sector (e.g. energy industry or healthcare) is an advantage
• Structured and reliable working style with high personal responsibility and strong quality awareness
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration, assertiveness, negotiation skills and adeptness in dealing with different stakeholders
• Fluent command of the German language, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
