Start of work: Immediately or by arrangement, limited to one year
The activities mainly include the following tasks:
- Collaboration in applied research and development projects as well as service projects
- Support of course and module coordinators in teaching
- Administrative and technical support of the research group
- Completed studies (BSc or MSc) in environmental engineering, geography, sustainability, or tourism.
- Initial experience in project collaboration in a scientific environment is an advantage.
- In addition to a committed interest in sustainable regional development in rural areas, you bring a high degree of independence and flexibility as well as enjoyment of teamwork.
- We look forward to a communicative and analytical person with very good oral and written German skills.
The workplace is mainly located in the "Center da Capricorns" in Wergenstein (Graubünden). You can expect a varied and exciting working environment.
The position is limited to one year – with the option of extension (max. 3 years). This position is a qualification position, which is especially suitable for recent graduates.

The Institute for Environment and Natural Resources (IUNR) offers two practice-oriented, individualized study programs in the environmental field as well as application-oriented research, development, and services. The focus is on topics at the interfaces between society, environment, and technology.
The Tourism and Sustainable Development research group is an external branch of the IUNR at the Center da Capricorns in Wergenstein (Graubünden). We are committed to sustainable development and work on inter- and transdisciplinary, socially relevant issues.
