The Uitikon Measures Center (MZU) is the socio-pedagogical-therapeutic competence center of the Correctional Service and Reintegration (JuWe). It is responsible for the penal and measures enforcement of young offenders aged 16 to 25 years.

For our security service, we are looking for a committed, reliable, and team-oriented personality to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your area of responsibility

• As the central contact person in the residential group, you ensure safety and order
• You supervise and accompany the young men as part of their daily structure – also outside the residential groups
• In the security lodge, you control entries and exits through the main entrance and operate the security airlocks
• Patrols, monitoring the premises, and checking rooms are also part of the daily routine
• You conduct body searches according to guidelines
• In addition, you operate modern security and communication systems as well as the telephone switchboard
• In conflict situations, you act de-escalating and take over the initial intervention if necessary
• Collaboration with social pedagogues, psychologists, and training supervisors is an important part of your work

What you bring

• A completed vocational basic training and several years of professional experience in the security sector
• A professional certificate FSB/FPO or an equivalent further education
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as confidence in handling MS Office and common security software
• An open, sociable manner and enjoyment in dealing with young people and visitors
• You enjoy teamwork, while working independently and responsibly
• Mental and physical resilience as well as willingness to work irregular hours
• Minimum age 25 years and a clean record (no relevant entries in the criminal or debt register)
