About the job
Wädenswil is an attractive city on the left shore of Lake Zurich with just over 26,000 inhabitants. Around 380 employees work in the city administration, providing comprehensive services to the population on a daily basis.
The Social Services department belongs to the Social Affairs division and is responsible for advising and supporting people with social and/or financial problems in the areas of social assistance and adult protection.

Your areas of responsibility include
- Client accounting for economic social assistance, voluntary income and asset management, as well as adult protection
- Handling payment transactions
- Mail processing
- Supporting social workers with various administrative tasks
- General secretarial duties
- Telephone service and reception
What you bring
- Commercial basic training or a comparable education
- Further training in social insurance and/or accounting
- Ideally professional experience in a social service or child and adult protection service or further training in the relevant field
- Numerical understanding and solid IT skills (MS Office, KLIBnet)
- Open and communicative personality with a strong service orientation
- Enjoyment of teamwork as well as independent work
- Sense of responsibility and interest in social issues
