Assistant Back-of-House Manager (Stewarding) - ideally already living in Engadin (m/f/d)

What you will achieve with us

• Shift & deployment planning across multiple outlets (Grand Restaurant, Amaru, Pizzeria, Room Service, Banquets, external events) – you orchestrate smooth workflows from mise-en-place to return flow.
• Leadership & coaching of the stewarding team: daily briefings, clear standards, motivating presence – and when it gets busy, you work hands-on.
• Hygiene & quality assurance at the highest level (HACCP-compliant): inspections, documentation, and training for an all-around clean setup.
• Dishwashing kitchen & equipment management: optimal utilization of modern systems, maintenance/upkeep, interface with kitchen, service, and events.
• Material & cost control: keeping an eye on inventory, chemicals, and consumables; efficient processes instead of downtime.
• Event excellence: logistics for large events, setup of return stations, and lightning-fast turnarounds.

Who you are

• Experience in luxury hospitality/gastronomy in stewarding or back-of-house – ideally in a leadership or deputy role.
• Practical mindset & overview: you make smart decisions, stay calm during peak times, and take responsibility.
• Leadership strength & communication.
• Hands-on mentality: you pitch in, are solution-oriented, and a role model in cleanliness, order, and efficiency.
• Confident in hygiene & technology: HACCP knowledge, understanding of cleaning technology, and routine with common planning/office tools.
• Flexibility: willingness for shift, weekend, and event deployments – you love the pulse of a lively house.
• Languages: Portuguese or Italian as well as English
