The World's Unique Jazzhotel Innere Enge ****S is considered a gem among Swiss hotels and offers its guests a unique experience in Bern. The hotel has 26 rooms, many of which are dedicated to world-famous musicians who have significantly shaped the development of jazz and make our house unique through hundreds of very personal exhibition objects.

The Marians Jazzroom in the hotel is one of the best jazz clubs in the world. The Innere Enge has been the venue for the annual international Jazz Festival Bern for some time, a highlight for top stars from the jazz and blues scene.

 

 

 

Tasks

 

To strengthen our team, we are looking for you immediately or by arrangement to advise and care for our guests at the front desk at a high level and to ensure a smooth workflow at the reception as

Receptionist / Hotel Assistant 80-100%

with the following tasks:
- Friendly and competent guest service
- Check-in and check-out
- Managing the telephone switchboard and taking reservations
- You speak Swiss German and have very good written and spoken skills in German, English & possibly French
- Preparing daily closing and invoices
- Independent shift management
- Demanding administrative tasks

 

 

Requirements

- Several years of practical experience in Swiss hospitality at a reception and in the F&B area
- Professional qualification as a hotel specialist EFZ or hotel management school
- Very good oral and written knowledge of G/E/F
- IT skills (MS Office/Fidelio)
- Enjoyment in dealing with guests from all over the world
- High quality awareness
- Very precise and independent working style

 

 

 

Languages

You speak Swiss German and have very good written and oral skills in German, English & French

Any additional language is an advantage
