To strengthen our Sales team in the German-speaking part of Switzerland and support our growth, we are looking for a
Clinical Support Specialist - Orthopedics
German-speaking Switzerland
Responsibilities:
Work closely with medical teams to provide technical assistance and training on the use of Symbios products.
For a number of hospitals :
- Provide direct or indirect presence and support in the operating room for all surgeries involving our equipment.
- Ensure that CT scans are transmitted without delay via our Symbios Connect system.
- Plan cases in 3D and/or support the surgeon in the 3D planning of their cases; supervision may be provided by the sales account manager and/or an experienced colleague.
- Ensure that equipment is properly reserved with our customer service team.
- Ensure that the operating room has all the required equipment (consignment stock status or ordering and reservation of equipment).
- Perform biannual inventory checks in these hospitals.
In support across German-speaking Switzerland and upon request from the sales team:
- Provide presence and/or support in the operating room
- Upload CT scans into our system
- Plan cases in 3D
- Perform inventory checks
For all of German-speaking Switzerland:
- Provide assistance and support in organizing and managing logistics for training or communication events (master classes, Young Resident programs, factory visits, etc.)
- Provide assistance and support during medical congresses (SSO, JRO, Mains Libres, etc.), including presence at the booth
Lastly, as an overarching responsibility, the employee must actively promote Symbios products to support business development and the growth of the company’s market share.
Profile we are looking for :
- Degree as an Operating Room Technician (ES) or equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of operating room experience, preferably in orthopedic surgery
- Strong knowledge of hip and knee anatomy is an asset
- Clinical/technical knowledge of hip and knee products is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously (CT scans, planning, inventories) while strictly meeting deadlines (surgeries, transmissions, reservations)
- Rigorous follow-up of consignment stock
- Ability to work across multiple sites and adapt to various environments
- Clear and professional communication with surgeons, OR staff, and colleagues; team spirit and willingness to share best practices
- Diplomacy, adaptability in stressful or urgent surgical situations, and natural empathy
- Autonomy, initiative, service-oriented mindset, and strong commitment to surgeon/user satisfaction
- Native German speaker or bilingual, with a good command of English (minimum B2 level). French skills are an advantage.
- Comfortable with standard IT tools
