Electronics Engineer Research & Development 60-100% (m/f/d)

you work at the Fehraltorf location in the innovative Drives & Controls team on the development of the new drive platform, which will be used worldwide for sliding door products.

In an agile research and development team, you work with motivated engineers from different disciplines and your electronics colleagues with plenty of creative freedom and the use of state-of-the-art technologies on sliding door solutions that are used worldwide in daily life through the international networking of our company.  

How we want to deploy you:

• You accompany product development from the idea phase to industrialization and support our own electronics production at the Fehraltorf site
• You develop hardware for our door drive systems and sensors
• You design manufacturing-compliant printed circuit boards according to regulations and guidelines such as electrical safety and EMC
• You build prototypes and test circuits
• You accompany analyses and tests during component discontinuations and develop second sources for components to ensure supply capability
• You optimize hardware design guidelines and take care of the management of electronics development tools and databases

What you should bring:

• You are an electronics technician or an electronics technician HF/TS/FH
• Ideally, you already have experience in a similar environment
• Good knowledge of PCB layout tools, preferably Cadence/OrCAD-Allegro
• You have a precise working style with a can-do mentality
• You are open to taking responsibility in the electronics design area
• You can express yourself well in German and English, both spoken and written
