Procap is the largest self-help and member organization for people with disabilities in Switzerland. We offer our members social insurance legal advice and support, social events, courses, and leisure activities. For the social insurance advice in the Upper Valais region, we are looking for a Social Insurance Specialist (50%) starting November 1, 2025, or by arrangement. Your tasks
  • You advise our members on social insurance questions.
  • You clarify insurance law concerns with a focus on IV, EL as well as BVG and initiate appropriate measures within the internal administrative process (objections,
statements, correspondence with insurers and treating parties). - You perform administrative tasks within the scope of the position, participate in the telephone service for initial contacts, and represent our concerns with external actors. - You maintain communication with the legal department of Procap Switzerland and prepare further measures in close cooperation. Your profile
  • You have completed specialized training in social insurance law with relevant professional experience.
  • You are experienced in advisory activities in the social sector.
  • You are interested in disability and equality issues as well as in the
tasks and goals of our organization.
  • You are proficient in the German language, both spoken and written.
  • You are characterized by flexibility, resilience, initiative, and humor, enjoy working independently in a small team, and can network well.
