The Lombard Lending Client Advisor & Coordinator plays a critical role in the loan origination, credit and collateral assessment, lombard loan structuring and 1st line credit monitoring process as well as in product Lombard development (marketing and product related risk policies and methodologies) for new Lombard offerings. It is also a business advisory & coordination role to enable global Lombard Lending growth. The role is a mixture between a Lombard product specialist, a Front and client-facing advisory and an internal product specialist and ambassador role for Lombard Lending.
IHRE AUFGABEN
- Advise clients in a tandem approach with Front in a product expert role about credit opportunities aligned with the client’s financial objectives and risk profile
- Analyse Lombard collateral risk and financial top up capability by coordinating with Front units and clients in gathering necessary client financial information and work in the intersection between Front, Credit Structuring (if applicable) and Credit Risk Management in enabling further Lombard Lending growth
- Develop and maintain Front and client relationships to promote additional Lombard related credit products and services
- Develop new Lombard related product policies and specific first line monitoring processes for new Lombard products
- Enhance existing marketing material, brochures, internal and external presentations and intranet and internet pages to promote Lombard Lending on a global basis
- Create and coordinate specific regional Lombard campaigns
- Support the product investment solution units in Investment Advisory, Wealth Planners, Cross Asset Sale and Trading
YOUR PROFILE
- Demonstrate a client mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
- In-depth knowledge of Lombard credit principles, Lombard credit structuring, Lombard credit policies and regulations, and industry practices
- Experience in the creation of special product-related LTV campaigns and new product credit policies for specific Lombard lending areas
- Client-facing and advisory experience in negotiating and structuring Lombard solutions including cash, guarantee and derivative trading usage
- Able to give credit Lombard training to client facing staff to enable them to identify Lending client needs and enable them to advise them appropriately
- Understand the monitoring aspects of Lombard related exposure risk management from a collateral and client top up point of view
- Support the conceptional development of Lombard simulation and monitoring tools to enhance client lifecycle management in a sophisticated way
- Experience in Lombard related pricing models, pricing exception approval processes and all commercial aspects related to Lombard pricing
- Flavour in marketing to enhance Lombard related promotion material like brochures, presentations, intranet/ internet pages, case studies & training
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bloomberg and other software applications used by the department
- Relevant experience in a Lombard credit-related role, preferably in a large bank with significant Lombard exposure to high-net-worth clients
- High school diploma or equivalent required; University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
